The Challenge
During the COVID-19 pandemic, rampant fear and misinformation made it difficult for Oakland County residents to understand and take action to protect their health, especially in socially vulnerable communities. Social distancing restrictions, which disconnected residents from daily routines, interactions and trusted sources of information, added to the confusion. Güd Marketing developed two campaigns that cut through the noise to promote safety measures (“Face It”) and vaccinations (“One by One”).
Our Solution
We combined scientifically accurate messaging with interactive tactics to combat confusion, address vaccine hesitancy and reconnect communities in innovative ways. Multichannel strategies empowered and united residents in protecting themselves and their neighbors — encouraging them to share experiences, concerns and hope.
