Common Goals, Distinct Clients

The pandemic era will never be forgotten. It was a world-changing event that will impact our lives, our families, our neighbors, our world forever.
Several purple, red, and white cut paper hearts on a window.
COVID-19 also had an unprecedented impact on our agency as we were called to help strengthen the communities around us with the power of communications. We were inspired daily by clients and partners that faced the biggest social issues of our time, including governmental units that were urging residents to keep their guard up and combat “pandemic fatigue” as we awaited vaccines to arrive, and those that worked tirelessly to ensure vaccination rollouts went as smoothly as possible.
There were also those helping Michigan residents with unemployment benefits and assisting businesses in deploying Work Share programs, public transit agencies working tirelessly to get front-liners to their essential jobs, and those creating programs to help secure futures through tuition-free community college.
And let’s not forget those fighting to ensure all voices were heard in the election and those helping communities across Michigan get their fair share of federal funds for schools, hospitals, roads, public works and other vital programs. And there were also those increasing equity and access to quality education for all families during the pandemic and helping Michigan adults find the jobs, skills and training that will help propel our state and economy in the future.
We applaud our clients for the hard work that was done during an unprecedented health crisis. And for the impassioned work that they will continue to do to help rebuild our local economies. But it will take all of us – business leaders, community leaders, communicators – to have an inclusive recovery.
We can help bring together people across sectors to mobilize action, to convene thought leaders across industries, to build public and private partnerships, to fuel the conversation, to grow community engagement, to understand the needs of all communities – especially those most in need. As we continue our mission to strengthen communities, we will be looking to mobilize partnerships that will bring the magnitude of change we need for all to prosper. And we will be asking for your help, your leadership, your voice to help build up Michigan – one community at a time.
“Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much.”
